Madelene Isaacks Director

Madelene has been involved in LGBTQI+ activism in Namibia since the early 2000s, including work with The Rainbow Project, one of the country’s earliest LGBTQI+ organisations, as well as Sister Namibia. She has worked in the religious space since 2003 seeking to bridge the gap between religious communities and sexual minorities to counter religiously driven homophobia and discrimination. 

Madelene holds a degree from the University of Namibia and worked as a civil servant before transitioning into social justice work. She founded TULINAM in 2014 and continues to serve as its director.

Gerhard Samuel Mason Program Officer

Gerhard also known as Mason by many, is a young activist with experience in communications. He is a community organiser at heart, in amplifying queer voices and creating inclusive spaces through events and storytelling. His current work as the TULINAM programs officer focuses on fostering dialogue with parents, family members and allies of LGBTI people, facilitating conversations around faith and sexuality while strengthening relationship between the LGBTI community and the church.

Quincy !Noabes Finance Officer

Quincy joined the team in 2025 as a finance assistant, as has now been appointed as the finance officer at TULINAM. She possesses over five years of experience in both corporate and non-profit environments, with expertise in financial support, administration, customer service, recruitment support, and organisational coordination.

Tangeni Haindongo Office Assistant

Tangeni is a God-fearing man who from the northern parts of Namibia. He grew interest in the TULINAM work as he has experienced and observed the hardships and limitations of LGBTI people in the north. He joined TULINAM for the sole purposes that he would be able to learn the TULINAM process of reconciling faith and sexuality in his community. He has been part of the team since 2024.
